About Dumpling
Everyone who has ever viewed the white clouds in the sky will identify with the baby cloud Dumpling.
Part I deals with his early "cloud"hood and acquaints us with his cloud experience, some good and some... for which he must be disciplined. After overhearing farm animals arguing about their importance, dumpling is saddened. He needs assurance and an answer to his plaintive question, "Why didn't God make Clouds important?"
In Part II, Mother Cloud and the cloud relatives happily relate how God used clouds in Bible stories of Noah, Miriam and Moses. A rambunctious, song-writing Mickey Monsoon disrupts Grandpa Thunderpeal's story session to lead the cloud children to a peppy, hand clapping song he has written explaining the ten plagues.
In the end, Dumpling is convinced God has a purpose for all inhabitants of earth and sky.
